The Joker Craze

It's been almost a month since the origin movie of Batman's archnemesis, The Clown Prince of Crime, 'Joker' has been released. After being hailed as the highest-grossing opening weekend in October with $93.5 million (beating Venom's $80.25 million in 2018), the movie is currently in $740 million and some are looking forward for it to hit the billion dollar mark. The movie has received higher-than-average critical reviews; and while some people view it in in a cinematic sense, others are looking at its impact on the real world as the movie delved into social issues such as abuse and mental illness.
