Aeon Command is a beautiful turn-based strategy game that explores the timeless possibilities of the standard game of empire building.
Playable on tablets and smartphones, Aeon Command is optimized for touch controls and designed from the ground-up for mobile play. Each turn, players can choose a variety of actions, from moving ships and deploying units, to building a new city or upgrading or de-leveling units. With dozens of upgrade combinations and special abilities, your tactics will determine your empire’s course to victory.

Break apart the basic empire building game into multiple, separate games: war, economy, diplomacy, research and development, combat. Every game is represented as a separate hero tile, and no two heroes can be used together in one game. Players are free to select or combine them as they see fit, and experiment with combinations to form the optimal strategy for their particular play style.
HOW TO PLAY
Aeon Command is a turn-based strategy game which puts you in charge of building an empire. It is played on a 2D map with a dynamic life cycle, and every turn you have to do the following:
Build Units: Train your army and research new technologies. Upgrade units with new abilities and modify their stats.
Move Units: Move your fleet where you want them to be by clicking on the map where you want them to go. They can move between maps by building special buildings. Each map has a particular role in the game, but it is up to the player to decide what to focus on and what to leave out.
Research Technologies: Research new units and upgrades and deploy them on the battle field.
Build Buildings: Build buildings on the map to improve your empire's strength.

@ Aemon, could you please bring to my attention any more info about the release dates in Europe? Is it finalised? Because the store says the coming week and then the next Friday, while we wait for the next week and then the next Friday.
About this news: I bought the game and play it already, but I miss a link to play the game in english. The game works fine with the english control panel, but when I click the link on the store to play on the website, it gives an error message and a red border. I do have the english language selected.

Hi Rene! The game is in English as of right now. Although, the English Website is not fully translated. We hope to get a fully translated version to the english store in the coming weeks!
@ Dodu, regarding the non-translated art, right now that is not the case and I don’t know why. It all works in my French PS3 but when I tried to use it in English mode, it was still in the French language. I’m not sure if it’s a PS3 specific issue or not. If it is a Sony issue, please contact Support and we can look into it. Thanks!

@ Krzstkom, did you install the game on your PS3? Because I’m sure that sometimes, you get different results. That being said, if the Store is unclickable, I would suggest to download the game and install it on your PS3

Aeon Command is a Turn-Based sci-fi Strategy/Tactics game that puts you in the role of commando, where your objective is to destroy your enemies most dangerous fleet first. You have a thousand years to do it though. Quick play, yet with depth of strategic planning it takes the fun out of that.
As with most any game that is based around ships, Aeon Command throws many different ships at you. Each of them has different stats, items, abilities, and strengths and weaknesses. They also have different strengths and weaknesses on the ground. And theres always more than one type of ground units.
The ground system can be a little confusing to start off with... but is rather simple in the end. As you progress in a galaxy, you unlock a whole new set of sectors of space to conquer. These sectors come in three different sizes. And there are also new enemies to kill, resources to collect, ships to destroy, and projects to complete.
The ships that you start with in Aeon Command aren't much, either. They have crappy health, low shields, and weapons that are very weak. The game allows you to upgrade them over time with special space items and upgrades. Aeon Command is a true strategy game.
As you upgrade your ships, you slowly start to build up a fleet that can conquer the galaxy. You have the choice of purchasing new and different ships from a huge list. You can customize your fleet from the biggest ship in the game to the smallest. Adding special weapons, shields, and items is a customizable way to go about building the perfect fleet. There are thousands of upgrades you can make to your ships.
In Aeon Command, you will unlock special abilities for your fleets, special weapons, additional shields, and new weapon capabilities. Once you acquire these upgrades, they will unlock as you purchase them. Your ship upgrades and abilities are given to you in order. After you unlock the ability, you can either purchase it or learn it.
This is the big selling point of Aeon Command. All of your abilities can be modified to fit your play style. There are a ton of different ones to unlock, and the game has them all. When you do
