How to remotely access our digital resources
You have an OpenAthens account to access most of our digital resources. You will use the same login (Single Sign-On or 'SSO') that you use for most other college services. Your account is created automatically when you begin your course. Watch the video below for instructions and please contact Library staff if you need more advice: Library@wcs.ac.uk
Your login uses your college email as the username, so that’s in this format: 
e.g. 500321450@live.wcs.ac.uk  
(but obviously using your own personal student number) 
And the password is set to be your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY, so it’s eight digits long with no dots, dashes or whatever. 
e.g. 04032002 
You can change that if you like once you’re logged in.  
REMEMBER if you’ve changed your password yourself or had it reset it will no longer be your date of birth.
