Suburban Scavengers
Suburban Scavengers is a small tug of war fighting game where you're trying to get somebody's garbage couch into your house.
Have you ever seen an item being thrown out as garbage that you thought you might like to take home? Have you ever wanted to punch a mall santa in the face or elbow drop a hipster? If you're looking for a game that you can do these things in, look no further. 
Inspired by a One Game a Month game jam themed "couch" and the video game "Nidhogg", Suburban Scavengers is an award winning (Orlando iX2016 - Best Narrative), fast paced, easy to play, competitive fighting game that will get your blood pumping and adrenaline flowing. 
Grab some friends and a couple controllers and prepare to battle.
A powerful control scheme with no onscreen prompts, no attack buttons, and no need for a stick to play is a challenge, but it's also a way to keep the action fast paced and accessible.

This is my first game released on the App Store and it's a tad different than most of the games I've created before.
A few things I've learned during this process:
1. Create content for content's sake. I have to make sure I'm going to have content to create more games. To my surprise, I'm pretty good at making games, and I love doing it. But even so, content still goes without saying!
2. Get good at producing a simple game with an extremely high score
This one came out rather fast. That's because I was in a rush to get a job.
For the first three weeks, I was strictly working on the game. But after that, I couldn't help myself. I'm just a sucker for a good game.
3. Make a game that someone won't hate so much that they won't play it
I'm very thankful that some of my friends and family helped out while I was making the game and that they kept a very close eye on the game to make sure it wasn't too hard for beginners.

A small farm simulation with randomly generated levels and players.
Controls:
Arrow Keys / WASD - Move
Shift / Space - Jump
Z / X - Crouch
W / E - Right / Left

Game Command & Controls:
Use the mouse to match your opponents color / number and deliver a punch, elbow, knee, leg sweep, grab, body slam, or send them flying with the elbow drop. The elbow drop is very powerful. You can also tap on the ground to get the airborne opponent to land. Counter grapples send a counter punch or elbow to the opponent.
Create your own arena using obstacles and victory points. Obstacles:
1) Trash Cans: For extra points
2) Fire hydrants: To send the opponents through
3) Nut Clusters, Buckets, or Drums: For extra points
4) Cardboard Boxes: For extra points
Victory Point:
Score a point by sending your opponent into one of the obstacles for the number of seconds you timed, get a powerup for a few seconds, and keep attacking and finishing the match by either putting the opponent in a trash can, fire hydrant, or a large amount of boxes for some time.
