April 2019 in the European Ombudsman's Office
In April we hosted the annual 'European Network of Ombudsmen' conference, which brought together around 100 national and regional ombudsmen from all over Europe, as well as MEPs, EU officials, organisations and other interested participants. The Ombudsman also exchanged views with the Council of Europe's Commission against racism and intolerance, as well as with the European Parliament's Petitions Committee on conflicts of interest. Finally we launched our campaign introducing the nominees for our Good Administration Award.
