Grey Goo is a modern era multiplayer real-time strategy game about two factions of aliens known as Aparoids and Striders.
Set in a beautiful post-apocalyptic scenario, the game is a frantic, fast-paced combat across the globe in Aparoid controlled worlds and a science fiction setting.
Each player controls a single faction which evolves over time. The gameplay and strategic design encourage fluid and robust play and are heavily influenced by StarCraft 2 and Command & Conquer 4.
A subscription to the Steam Workshop is required to play multiplayer matches and the leaderboard.

Sources told ESPN that Baylor officials were aware of the situation and said they were disappointed by the move, which came on the eve of a key game for Briles.
Athletic directors from the other 26 schools in the Big 12 Conference voted unanimously Tuesday to suspend Briles, a source said.
Briles is Baylor's most successful coach in school history. He guided the Bears to their first BCS bowl game after the 2011 season, finishing 7-6 in the Big 12.
In 2012, Baylor reached the Cotton Bowl for the first time since 1945 when the Bears beat Southern Miss 42-17 in Dallas. After the game, the school received a five-year bowl ban that was reduced to one year.
Baylor has won or shared a Big 12 title the last three years, and is on the way to a likely spot in the SEC.
"We're saddened by this news, but we respect the decision they made," Baylor coach Art Briles said in a statement released by the university. "We want to support our athletic director and president in their decision.
"During the past three years, our football program has proven to be a big winner. Football is what drives this program. It is time for our coaches to return to taking care of their players, not each other. We will continue to work with our players and our University for their educational and athletic future. Our first responsibility is to serve our students."
