In 1998, AutoCAD was first released for Microsoft Windows 98 and the following year, it was released for Windows NT4.5. In 2000, AutoCAD was first released for Windows 2000. Executing a console application from windows services
How can I execute a console application from a windows service.
I want to invoke a console application as a windows service. I have created an exe with the console application.
I created a windows service and enabled it to start on demand, but when it starts it gives me the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified
Also, I am trying to start the service under account that is being used by the windows service itself.

I'm not sure if you can do that and why you would want to do so but here goes...
You could try using a client/server model with a service listening for clients, when a client requests the service to start a command line application it spawns that command line application.
