Core Values for Surviving a Dystopia
1:) Basic human empathy and compassion is the first and most important step in overcoming a dystopia. Being able to understand another no matter what is priceless. Having an open mind and being able to show genuine kindness even in the most desolate and dire circumstances is crucial to surviving not just a dystopia but anywhere.
2:) If government and leadership fail it is up to the populace, the citizens, to take a stand and fight for whats right. But in order to do that, we must be united by using our empathy for one another. Violence is only an absolute last resort.
3:) Once united through empathy find the light at the end of the tunnel, find hope. A belief in each other and in doing the right thing will carry one through any obstacle.
4:) Spread knowledge and hope through words and writing. Remember the trials and tribulations of the past and learn from the mistakes of history. Ignorance is a killer.
By having compassion and empathy for fellow man we can band together against any adversary. Hold on to hope no matter what and never give up. Understand your enemy and spread wisdom.
