Battlefield 1 PC is a squad-based tactical shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. A free expansion pack of the Battlefield 1 game called “Second Assault”, named after its March 2016 launch date, is now available for download and for single player play only. The expansion pack contains six maps in the “Copenhagen” map set, a new mode called “Rush”, several weapons and vehicles for the use of the game’s players.

The game takes place in Eastern Front in World War II, and features numerous combat units and vehicles from both Axis and Allied forces. The game was released in November 2015 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.Battlefield 1 is powered by Frostbite™, a game engine developed by DICE in-house, and utilizes new rendering techniques and advanced game engine to deliver breathtaking environments and dynamic moments. In-engine cut scenes are also part of the Frostbite™ game engine, giving the game a cinematic quality.
Battlefield 1 single-player is a remake of Battlefield: Bad Company, the 2006 game developed by DICE that was set during World War II. Battlefield 1 delivers a new approach to the series that has players using squads to coordinate an army against the enemy in epic battles.
