Maternal cannabis exposure has previously been associated with an increased risk of schizophrenia, but this may be a consequence of detrimental effects on maternal mental health. Maternal cannabis use and phytoestrogens have previously been associated with an increased risk of schizophrenia. We aimed to determine whether cannabis use in early pregnancy may affect fetal brain growth and alter plasma phytoestrogen levels. In this prospective, controlled cohort study, we analysed plasma levels of phytoestrogens and androgens at 15 weeks' gestation in pregnant women who reported cannabis use in early pregnancy and compared levels with those of pregnant controls who reported no use. We undertook an MRI volumetric analysis of the head of the caudate nucleus and the fourth ventricle at term in a subset of the mothers and their newborn babies. Cannabis use in early pregnancy was associated with increased levels of plasma phytoestrogens and androgens. Volumetric analysis of the babies' brains revealed a reduced growth rate of the caudate nucleus in cannabis-exposed babies. Exposure to cannabis in early pregnancy is associated with reduced fetal brain growth and altered maternal hormonal milieu. These findings support a causal link between maternal cannabis use in early pregnancy and psychosis.Thermal and visible radiation sensing by an on-chip microcantilever array.

In the first series of Your Future Games, we're giving you the chance to create a game and be the creator.

But they had the same starting point and had to adapt the challenge to their own game.
Each challenge was made for one minute and you'll have to follow the designers directions just as written.
The rules are simple and easy to follow, so don't worry if you feel unsure or it takes a long time to understand what is needed, you'll have a lot of support through the challenges.
