How to Turn on Snapchat night mode
You might not know it, but Snapchat actually has a night mode! It’s super easy to turn on, and will make your Snaps easier to see at night or in dark settings—which makes it great for nighttime selfies. To Turn on Snapchat night mode, all you have to do is follow these instructions.
Go to Settings
To turn on night mode, you have to go through settings. Tap on your Snapcode at the top of your screen or swipe right from camera screen and you’ll be taken back to your profile page. You’ll see a Settings button at the bottom right hand corner of your profile page; tap that, and then hit Manage. Once inside Settings, scroll down until you find Night Mode and toggle it on. The feature will now be turned on whenever you open Snapchat. If you want to use dark mode snapchat all day long, not just at night, there is another way: add a filter! From your main camera screen, swipe left until you get to Filters & Lenses—you should see one called Darken Things Up! Add it and voila! It will now always be enabled when using Snapchat. Just remember that any filters or lenses added after dark mode are added after dark mode will remain enabled as well.
Open Display & Light
The first thing you'll want to do is open your display & light settings. This can be done by swiping down from the top of your phone and tapping on display. You'll then want to tap on night mode and adjust it accordingly. There are three different modes here: automatic, sunrise/sunset, and manual. Auto automatically turns night mode on at sunset & off at sunrise (which is a great time-saving feature). Manual lets you turn night mode on & off as desired. It also gives you advanced options such as custom schedules (you can set night mode up every day at 9pm). And finally, there's a sunset/sunrise option that allows you to set up 2 times; one for sunset, and one for sunrise.

 To Turn on night mode in Snapchat, swipe down from the camera screen. Swipe up from there again and you’ll find your new dark mode settings (and a handy place to adjust front-facing flash). If you’re thinking about going for it, remember that any Snaps taken in night mode will automatically go into a separate folder so if you want more of a reason to use it, there’s that! Then, click apply and enjoy some nighttime snapping! And if you decide that night mode isn't for you after all, just hold down on edit at the top of your screen until it asks if you want to go back. Click yes and you'll be good as gold once again. #nightmodeon? That's entirely up to you. We think it looks pretty cool though!
Enable Night Mode
To get started, open up your phone’s Settings menu. From there, you’ll want to tap into your Display & Brightness options. Here, you should be able to find a toggle for Night Mode, which is what we’re looking for here. Give it a quick flip and voila! Snapchat will automatically change over from its standard white display mode into a darker one that most won't have even realized existed! Easy as pie. Now all you need to do is head back into Snapchat, select your settings icon, and select Night or Dark under Display Options. You can also customize other settings like where users can view night mode (phone only or everywhere) and how long it stays on before going back to normal lighting. For example, users can choose between 5 seconds or 1 minute intervals before reverting back to regular colors. Enjoy those new colors!
