(The tasks you list here will guide the participant to explore information from credible, evidence-based resources and consider other viewpoints from experts in the field. You'll include articles, videos, and prompts for the participant to find their own resources relevant to their content area, grade-band, or other professional learning needs. You'll write reflection questions and use #FLEXShare - description on website - to provide opportunities for collaboration. Each of these components - exploring information, consideration of other viewpoints, searching for additional resources, responding to reflection questions, and collaborating about the learning - is backed by research on effective professional learning. Furthermore, the opportunity for the participant to choose between reading articles and watching videos to explore information is backed by research on adult learning theory.
