The Battle against Misinformation

Since 2016 tech companies have been under increasing pressure to regulate the content which appears and circulates on their platforms. Social media companies especially have faced mounting calls to take responsibility. These calls have intensified with the global health crisis. Meanwhile, NGOs and researchers amongst others have been taking to social media platforms to try and curb the spread of misinformation and understand why it has become so prevalent. This collection supports The Digital Literacy Lab for Educators, a collaborative project between Dilectae, the Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver, and the Commonwealth Centre for Connected Learning, Malta.
