Fabrique Nationale 9mm Serial Number
Have an FN Hi-Power 1957 that is complete. Need a guide to restore it.
 
 
 
It appears to be a FN 9mm P-08. Serial number 4286 from the Civilian Marks and Patent Office. New-Old Stock. Please help!.
My grandfather has a FN Hi-Power dated 1957-1965. I need help identifying it, serial numbers, and possibly military use.
 
I want to know if this is the same model of pistol as a 9mm FN Hi-Power model FN 9/45 FS-39-24, serial number 50560.
 
 I have a one piece Hi-Power-9mm-57 (.45ACP-FN, FNS-9-2617) semiauto Hi-Power 9mm pistol which I had in the early 60's. It appears to be the same pistol as the following 2 pictures. It is marked FN-FS-52 on the left side of the slide under the ejection port. It is also marked FN-9-5865 on the right side of the slide under the ejection port. What is this pistol called and what is the date code?
 
 
This is a Hi-Power FN 9mm semi-auto that is stamped FN on the left side of the slide under the ejection port, FN 9-S-5880 on the top right and FN 9-C-5880 on the bottom right. It also has FN stamped on the left side of the magazine well under the barrel.
 
My Dad's Hi-Power pistol has FN markings on the left side of the slide and FN 9-S-5880 on the top of the slide. I have been told that it was bought in the 1950's. Is there a serial number on the pistol and are the markings from the manufacturer?
 
 
 
 I was given a Hi-Power pistol to fix. I believe it has a serial number, but I can not find any information online. Does anyone have any information? I know it is a Hi-Power.
