7/8th Grade Cohort Virtual Steam Fair.

The 7/8th Grade Cohort have discussed, researched, and studied a gamut of topics about our precious earth, throughout this school year, many of which were related to our global goals. The 7/8th graders all understand that we all need to play our part in looking after what God has blessed us with - a world of unimaginable beauty and an abundance of resources. So, when we were told our Virtual Steam Fair revolved around the question ”What do Renton Prep students envision for the future of the earth?”, there were an abundance of artifacts that we could choose from. The visual design art pieces are from our “Earth Day” collection, where students had to digitally draw and write a response to the question,” The future is ours to create. Together we decide. What will Earth day look like in 50 years? The sway link’s will take you into a world of your student’s imagination as they worked in groups to create their own sustainable cities of the future. From naming their city to creating weather conditions that represent “Seattle’s weather”, from ideas of sustainable use of energy to ideas on efficient use of water. The students did it all. Enjoy their vision and creativity!
