Attributes and Criteria

*Ethics* : What do you do when you see a fellow staff member when not acting in an ethical/ professional manner? 
I would caution the person first of all and tell then their mistake, but if they repeat it the second time, I will report it to our seniors.  Being a nurse means being a professional in what you do. We are here to save lives not act unprofessionally.

*Doing* : What is the one activity a day you have to complete for you to feel like you have completed your professional duty? 
Making sure that my patient gets all they food and medication and are comfortable. Once I've achieved those I feel like I'm looking after my patients and tending to their needs.

*Being* : Would you act contrary to the laws and rules in order to save your patient's life if they are in a life and death situation? 
A life is very important to me and as a nurse I always try to ensure that none of my patients pass on, on my watch. So yes, I would do it to some extent depending on the situation I'm faced with.

*Flourishing* : How do I flourish or stay motivated as a student in my profession despite it being deemed unpleasant by society? 
Avoid negativity and do what you studied for. You did not study all these years just for someone to belittle you and make you think you made a mistake.  Saving a patients lives is more important than the negative things people have to say. At the end of the day they may fall sick and come running to the hospital and it'll be us the nurses that need to take care of them
