Step 2. I-9 Form: Employment Eligibility Verification
1. Download the fillable I-9 form below. 
2. Fill Out Page 1: Download and complete the fillable I-9 below. Please put 2/11/2022 as "today's date". You must include a real signature. So, you may fill out all of page 1 digitally, print it out, and sign it. Or, you may print out a blank form and fill it all out by hand.
3. Scan Page 1: Once you have filled out and signed page 1, please scan it so that you may send it in an email. If you have an iPhone, the Notes app has a built-in scanner. There are also free scanning apps, like Genius Scan, that you can use. Please do not just take a picture of the form.
4. Take photos of your identification document(s). Page 3 outlines which identification documents are accepted. Make sure to take a photo of the front and back of the document(s).
5. Send your scan of page 1 and your photos of your identification document(s) in an email to Dianne. (dianne.stanley@learnitsystems.com) If you are not comfortable with emailing photos of your identification documents, please email Dianne to arrange for a video call during which we may view the documents.
Once your documents have been checked and we have used them to fill out our portion of the I-9, we will delete the email to protect your personal information.
IMPORTANT - I-9 forms must be completed within 3 days of your start date to be considered valid. Please, please get these sent to us as soon as possible! When filling out page 1, please be sure to check that you didn't miss any boxes (the citizenship and translator questions are often missed). Make sure the date is written in the correct format as well.	See here for a sample page 1 filled out.
