The Game Standards Association (GSA) has created a new landmark specification, the Third-Party Interface (TPI) standard, streamlining remote game servers with an iGaming platform interface, and breaking down barriers to entry for more game content providers.

From a highly technical point of view, GSA's TPI Standard is based on JSON, HTTP/REST, and WebSocket technologies. It describes a standardized interface between iGaming Platforms, Remote Game Servers, and Progressive Jackpot controllers for game releases, monetary transaction records, progressive contribution posting, progressive jackpot awards, and discontinued game adjustments.

From the perspective of the general public, GSA's TPI Standard allows operators to access new content, retain current players, attract new players, and prevent them from defecting to other online casinos. TPI achieves this by providing operators more access to content through faster integration, removing barriers to entry for content providers, and reducing the cost of continuous support for multiple proprietary APIs.

Furthermore, the specification fully supports online gaming tasks serving multiple jurisdictions, making it easy to report activities related to each jurisdiction separately.
