👩‍🏫 Introducing me! 👨‍🏫
	Hi! I'm Susan Basalik, an elementary stringed instrument teacher, grades 3-6 in the Methacton School District located near Philadelphia, PA. I love teaching and I love adding a techhie twist to what I teach. One of my favorite things to do is to take unlikely music education apps and figure out ways to make them work for my students. Wakelet has been a huge help this past year for my students. I'm linking two of my school Wakelets as part of this application. One is a Wakelet for my students to help them learn a piece of orchestra music. The other is a Wakelet of stringed instrument videos that I've created that I'll be sharing with my beginning stringed instrument students and their families in fall 2021 to help my students review their skills when they are at home.
	When I'm not at school, you can find me riding my bike, playing the cello, knitting my own cowls and socks, and rooting for my favorite baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies. One of these days, I'll be traveling again with my family. In fact, my Wakelet background image is the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia, a place that we've visited many times and that we hope to see again this summer.
	I'm currently building a virtual stringed instrument using a Makey Makey board, Scratch programming, and some cardboard.  If you check out some of my linked Wakelet collections, you can see how I've used Wakelet to plan trips and get inspiration for my MakeyMakey and Scratch projects.
