“The matter has been taken up with Rashtriya Janata Dal Chief Nitish Kumar. The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also been apprised about the suspension of the MP. Taking cognisance of the matter, the Election Commission has suspended the MP from the party,” Rajiv Yadav, deputy election commissioner, told news agency ANI.
