Digital Learning and Leadership Portfolio

I began teaching in 2014, but did not really understand the value in using edtech for student learning until 2016, when my school went 1:1. I decided to learn as much as I could about Google Apps for Education (GAFE) and became a Google Certified Educator to improve my efficiency and effectiveness using these tools. The more I used GAFE (now called Google Workspace for Education), the more I wanted to share what I was learning with my students and my teacher peers. My favorite way to use Google is by "app smashing" with other educational apps, like Flipgrid, Thinglink, or Wakelet, to create an enriching learning experience for my students. The following is a record of my journey through developing my digital learning skills and supporting other educators on their digital learning skills journeys.
