This is a remake of a video game that has been remade so many times by so many different developers, it's hard to even know the original source anymore. I didn't want to remake it from scratch again without having some special elements, and I also couldn't use an old engine. So, as my first project in the remake world, I've adapted the stylized version of a Game Boy/Game Gear game I played a lot as a kid.

The Time Attack mode will keep you on your toes and not let you relax. The clock will relentlessly pressure you to reach the end faster than your friends.
Explore a beautiful open-world, full of secrets and challenges
Explore the peaceful forest, the scary caves, the bustling towns, the majestic caves, and the strange desert. There will be no NPCs in this universe, so you will have to take on quests from people who drop by. You can also interact with the local population in order to find rare weapons or important information.

VAMPIRE_IN_MY_GARAGE (a.k.a. TWilight Lady or Vampybreeze) is the sequel to VAMPIRE_IN_MY_BATHROOM, the novella that inspired me to write this series. You don't have to read VAMPIRE_IN_MY_BATHROOM to play VAMPIRE_IN_MY_GARAGE, but if you do, you'll get a better understanding of how VAMPIRE_IN_MY_GARAGE is connected to the world and my characters.
The following was written in an unedited version while I was still in the first draft phase.
CHAPTER ONE
"Okay, everyone," my stepmom, Jessie Marie, said as she opened the front door and stepped out of the living room into the hallway. She was currently looking tired and strained, and she wore a pale-blue, long-sleeved cotton top with a plunging neckline and short sleeves. It looked like she'd slept in it. "I think everyone knows where to go. Dave and I will meet you in the parking lot in fifteen minutes, so you'd better hurry if you want to catch us. Come on, honey," she called to my little brother, Tyler. "If you want to spend the night, you better hurry."
"I'll be right there!" Tyler shouted back.
Jessie closed the door behind her and, as I did so, I noted her body language and tone of voice. She was acting very strange, which was rare for her. Usually she was very composed, but now, at this exact moment, she was clearly in a state of distress. I was sitting at the kitchen table, staring at the words scribbled in blue ink on the typed-up page of the newspaper article about the high school shooting that had happened earlier that day, just a few days after the Halloween dance at my school. It had been a school shooting that really shook us up. Almost two dozen students had been wounded, including several from my own school, and a few had lost an eye or an arm or a leg.
"Everything all right?" I asked.
"I'm just doing some rethinking," she said.
"About what?"
"How I raised the kids. Where I went wrong. What I should have done better. Where I should have been
