Elizabeth Arcand ’19, Megan Spinney ’19, and Kaylie O'Connell ’19, Kathryn Neville, Nancy Hernandez (RIC) - Tipping Lab
We are the Tipping Lab! We have three undergraduate researchers: Elizabeth Arcand ’19, Megan Spinney ’19, and Kaylie O'Connell ’19; one post-baccalaureate researcher, Kathryn Neville; a visiting student from RIC, Nancy Hernandez; and of course our mentor, Dr. Marla Tipping. We work with the model system Drosophila melanogaster, commonly known as the fruit fly! Right now we have two projects going on: Kathryn, Elizabeth, and Nancy are working with Drosophila ovaries called ovarioles, and Kaylie and Megan are working on a DNA damage project. Stay tuned all week for some of what we do in our lab!"
