History

In 1977, Dennis Wheeler and Stephen Alexander developed their own CAD program for the Apple II line of computers. This program allowed engineers to place architectural models into a 3D space. With the introduction of desktop computers in 1980, the first models were displayed on the screen of a mini-computer or a host computer. Over the next year, the process of designing or creating a drawing was revolutionized by the introduction of the Viewpoint software program. Viewpoint was initially developed for the Commodore PET computer in 1981 and was later ported to the Apple II and IBM PC platforms. The Viewpoint program allowed a user to operate a 3D drawing on a computer screen, making it possible to conduct a virtual walkthrough of a building.
To operate this software, a designer or drafter needed a graphics display device connected to a desktop computer. Viewpoint offered five display types: 16, 17, 24, 32, and 40 inches. The type of display chosen determined the size of the drawing display on screen. With the popularity of desktop computers, Viewpoint quickly became one of the most popular programs of the early 1980s.

Child Support - She can't work and she's pregnant - what do we do?
I am not the biological mother of my child. I am her step mother.
My husband and his ex-girlfriend (biological mother) is in a very bad divorce situation. My husband had a vasectomy and he is being billed $300 a month and we don't know why he's being billed. I can't work because of complications during my pregnancy. They claim they are providing child support to me, but I know they aren't. I don't know what to do.

This is an old thread, but I'm still posting. What is the statute on this? If the stepmother is the mother of the child, I'm assuming it's illegal for the mother to claim as a dependent for the court to hear? If that's the case, I'm guessing the stepmother is the one to receive the child support.
