Macon-Bibb Commission 11/21/23
In its last meeting of November, the Macon-Bibb County Commission approved accepting a $200,000 grant from the Peyton Anderson Foundation to purchase ATVs to enhance security in downtown and along the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail. The Commission also accepted nearly $135,000 in grants from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to assist crime victims through the Solicitor's Office and the District Attorney's Office. They also approved a resolution urging Governor Brian Kemp and the Georgia General Assembly to reform and improve mental health care.
