March and April 2020 in the European Ombudsman's Office
In March and April, the COVID-19 pandemic hit Europe. While investigations went on during the crisis, and the Ombudsman kept communicating about core business matters, we also dedicated part of our communication efforts to the EU response to coronavirus. It is the Ombudsman's task to monitor the transparency and accountability of EU institutions, but also to help people understand who takes decisions at the EU level and how.
