#NYEDChat - Poetry Soothes the Soul during Trying Times
On April 20, 2020, poets/authors Georgia Heard and Rebecca Kai Dotlich, guest moderated the annual #NYEDChat Twitter Party for National Poetry Month. We chatted, reflected on poetry that inspires us, added poetic thoughts, and enjoyed connecting with others who believe in the power of poetry to bring hope and joy to the world. A great deal of poetry goodness was tucked inside a short time. Thank you to our guest moderators for their organizational skills in preparing for this chat, the amazing poetic resources they provided, and their willingness to lead this amazing event.
