The purpose of the movement #times up is to promote information about the movement for gender equality and the workplace. Time's Up movement that raises money to support victims of sexual harassment, founded on January 1, 2018, by Hollywood celebrities. The idea of the movement is to encourage women to speak about sexual violence encountered during the workplace. The primary audience of the #timesup is both men and women, however, the audience focuses on using the hashtag by endorsing celebrities to gain mass media attention and to be a role model for all women. The goal of the #timeup movement is to support women and educate men on how to be allies in the mission for sexual abuse in the workplace and gender equality. The kairos for  #timeup is responding to the recent and old sexual assault instances where women have been told to keep quiet or been too afraid to speak as well as gender equality as a whole.
