How can I set Winform color to transparent in Visual Studio 2013?
I am using Visual Studio 2013.  I have created a window form with 3 panels.  Within the panels I have created 3 buttons.  The problem I am having is that the colors of my text is black on the form.  The only thing I can do to change this is change the background color to Transparent.  I would like to be able to set it so the text within the 3 panels is black as well. 
I have read numerous articles on how to set colors for my forms however I have not been able to find one that will enable me to set the colors of panels in a windows forms to black.  How would I change the font color from black to transparent?

there is no simple way to do so, you can either use a different Control that has a transparent background as the forms controls, or simply edit the style of the form and the children controls :
this first one is the easiest, just set the TransparencyKey property of the form to System.Windows.Media.Media3D.Transparent 
this second option is to edit the color through the form designer : 
just highlight the control that is annoying to you, then select the Layout menu item and the Edit Horizontal or Edit Vertical Grid... property, then you can edit the column and row count and widths, that way you get also the possibility to set the desired height, then select the color you want and then you can set the first column as "Controls Transparent", this will allow you to edit the color you want for those controls transparent

The Paint Scratch gauge fills up with paint that the user failed to select. The paint can be scraped off with the user's finger on the screen, resulting in the paint gauge becoming empty.
