Webquest Template 2

A Webquest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the Internet. Students not only collate and organize information they've found on the web, they orient their activities towards a specific goal they've been given, often associated with one or more roles modeled on adult professions. Webquests can be used: 1) to begin a unit as an anticipatory set; 2) to conclude a unit as a summation; 3) to teach students how to be independent thinkers 4) as a collaborative activity in which students create a product (constructivist approach); 5) to increase competency in the use of technology.
