AdaptedMind is a resource for students in grades K-6. Students are given a pretest to assess what area of math skills they should start on. This pretest determines an individualized curriculum for the student, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. AdaptedMind best fits a students needs and gives them more practice on math areas they have challenges in. If they need more practice on a particular skill they will be able to review the material to try to fill in any gaps in this content area. There are also formative ongoing assessments to check a students understanding. If a student answers a question incorrectly, they will receive feedback and an explanation on how to solve the problem correctly. Teachers are also able to monitor student progress.
