Creating an informed and relevant space for learners. Educational Stance: I believe the educator acts in a facilitatory manner and provides space, challenges thinking, and supports safety and growth by hosting an inclusive environment where students learn by playing and exploring. It's crucial for students to drive their learning in a self-directed manner, but also collaborate with peers and at times have some guidance in instruction. Through critical thinking students are able to solve challenges and reflect on learning attempts and not see failure as a negative occurrence but rather as a source of solution and gained knowledge. Presentations and reflections to peers and community should reinforce the practice of play and exploration to solving problems and further a love of learning.
