Sadia Barua 
Sadia will be attending the University of Florida, where she plans to study anthropology. In addition to being an International Baccalaureate Scholar, Sadia was in the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Program. She was a Junior and Senior Senator for the IB Senate, a Senior Writer for the IB Newspaper Club, a Lead Volunteer for Willie’s Mart, President of  Yoga Club, Co-Vice President of the Minority Student Union, and Character Lab Ambassador. She has also been an active member of Health Occupations Students of America, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Archery Club, Women in STEM, and SELebrate Club. Sadia has volunteered at the Orlando Science Center Summer Camp, Camp Invention, Winter Park Art Festival, Habitat Restoration Team, Glenridge Middle School, Ted Ed Bengali Translator, and Winter Park Library. Plus, Sadia has served as a Character Lab Intern, Virtual Summer Intern/Research and Projects for Florida Prosperity Partnership (NAF Academy) and she served as a Youth Service Summer Assistant here at the Winter Park Library during the summer of 2020. 
Sadia’s book is Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari.
