Team MIEE Scotland is a vibrant community of 200 educators who have been amazing before, during and after the Covid 19 online learning period.  
As MIE Fellow for Scotland my role has been to lead and support this group of educators to ensure they in turn can support staff and students in their own community.  
I have been the 'unofficial fellow' for many years ensuring the Scottish Community of MIE Experts have had a place in Teams to connect and support each other.  When times are tough this community have been my saviour and it is them that motivate me.  I was encouraged by Tina Jones (UK Education Schools Lead) back in 2018 to apply to be the First Microsoft Fellow in Scotland as she saw the skills i had to build a community and lead a digital education strategy in the use of Microsoft Tools in Scotland.  
So this is what i have tried to do since taking on this voluntary role.  I work with the community by host training sessions, provide opportunities to connect with each other, share learning with teachers across Scotland and be that 'port of call' if they need anything.
