1 Corinthians was written by the Apostle Paul. 1 Corinthians deals with the purification of the church. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 5:7 KJV, "Purge out, therefore, the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us." You see children our true identity is flat and plain not puffed up with the wrong kind of ingredient. Yeast is a small thing, but it works its way through a whole batch of bread dough pretty fast. We need to remove this yeast (sin). The purpose of writing 1 Corinthians is to share with the youths how Paul instructed the church of Corinth concerning the church having purity. There were a lot of things Paul had to correct, as I am sure pastors and leaders have to do today. Want to encourage you children to stay in the church. Be committed to Jesus and his teachings through the Apostle Paul.
