Ethos, Pathos, Logos Exemplar

The purpose of this Wakelet essay is to provide examples of ethos, pathos, and logos, the three modes of persuasion in a rhetorical argument. As this unit is focused on speeches, I am only including examples of oral rhetoric (though there are certainly other forms). I have found six total videos, two each for the three distinct modes. For each video, I have written a description of the video and why it is an example of that mode, using learned academic vocabulary from this unit. Though each video below could be an example of more than one of the modes, I am ascribing each to one specific mode; however, in my descriptions of each video, I am acknowledging the other modes present. (For example, one of my "ethos" examples could very well also be an example of "pathos," but I still found six unique videos).
