Ahead of the release of the deluxe edition, Rod Wave releases “Time Heals, a new video single that features intense piano and guitars. The video is directed by Yawn Rico and highlights Wave’s jet-setting lifestyle, full of ATVs, luxury cars, and a set at Rolling Loud.
Impressively, 14 of the album’s 19 songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Tombstone” and “Street Runner” cracking the top 20. The Polo G-assisted “Richer” peaked at No. 22.
The new songs tackle navigating fame and the impossibility of escaping his past. The deluxe will feature Lil Durk and Kodak Black and arrive on August 20 via Alamo Records.
“Time Heals” sees Rod Wave at his best, passionately singing about a love affair over a melancholic piano-infused instrumental. In the track, Rod explains how he uses his wealth as a cushion for heartbreak, to fight away his intense emotions.
On midnight Aug. 18, Rod Wave released new single “Time Heals,” while simultaneously announcing he will release the deluxe edition of his third studio album SoulFly from March on Friday (Aug. 20).

Rod Wave is making expressing emotions cool again with SoulFly (Deluxe), the expansion of his acclaimed sophomore album featuring nine new tracks, including collaborations with Lil Durk and fellow Floridian Kodak Black.
