PingCOPA builds on the ability of a computer user to ping an IP address, and identify if the computer is connected to a local network (i.e. on the same subnet).
With PingCOPA we can identify the location of IP devices on a local subnet by using an IP address range as an input parameter to a computer. Once an IP address range is identified, it is rapidly and efficiently pinged.
Once the IP address range has been identified it can be pinged multiple times in order to obtain traceroutes to each subnet in the range.

Creating a unique destination address is very easy. Simply enter an IP address in the ping dialog. In the IP address box enter the destination address. On the next line enter the subnet mask. On the third line enter a unique local destination address. Any machines on the same subnet and using the same subnet mask will respond to the same address.
