History

During the 1980s and 1990s, AutoCAD was redesigned and included the ability to use a 2D perspective view for 3D models.
In 1993, AutoCAD became available for the Apple Macintosh platform.
AutoCAD LT (AutoCAD Little Training) was introduced in 1996. It included tutorials, a set of introductory drawings, and a software application.
