Doors: Paradox
The Evil Within is an upcoming survival horror game set in a twisted world overrun by paranormal forces, where players will use an ordinary three dimensional camera to navigate, explore and survive.
Players will be forced to understand how to use this new piece of equipment to view the world around them. Using this, players will explore this 3D world and discover the truth behind the supernatural occurrences surrounding them.
While running through the environments, players will be forced to evade or battle against the evil lurking in the shadows. And they won’t have the typical combat options.
During the mission, players will be able to arm themselves with a variety of weapons, including melee weapons, sniper rifles, and shotguns. There are also mysterious weapons on the market that vary from handgun to shotgun to gatling gun. Players will be able to upgrade the player’s weapons while using them by finding loot. It will take players a while to upgrade all their weapons so they will have to make choices on what weapon to upgrade first.
The game has multiple endings, depending on how the player chooses to resolve the main story. As players progress further into the game, they’ll encounter more and more. Players will be forced to choose their own path as the story unravels.

About Deck 13
Deck 13 is a development team specializing in the creation of quality horror games. They were founded in 1998 in Austin, Texas by industry veterans Shinji Mikami and Hidetaka Miyazaki. Their first game, Resident Evil, released in 1997.
The team currently consists of former Capcom, Square Enix, and Capcom Entertainment employees, as well as an award-winning international development company: MercurySteam. The team is an award-winning developer and was runner-up in the Spaghetti Western category at the 2013 Independent Games Festival. Their first full-fledged horror game, The Evil Within, is scheduled to release on October 14, 2013 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

- Think of a space station that has transformed into a living place, with an artificial life and a degree of stability that we cannot consider as a natural environment.
- The social space is the place where the players and AI will be placed. It is a large game board, where the players build their own little city through the strategic choices made by the artificial intelligence.
- Abstract Arena is a multiplayer only game.
- The city is built starting from it's center, using a compass that works through a rectangular grid.
- Doors are the basic component of the city, they create the world seen from the city center; they can be opened from the inner side of the city and from the external side of the board.
- The world is infinite and procedurally generated, so every time the game start a new city is generated.
- Abstract Arena is compatible with gamepads and laptop controllers, but only with analog sticks (pad's configuration cannot be changed)
About Alberto Muratore
Alberto Muratore is the main developer of Abstract Arena; he began to study computer science at the University of Milan and he graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Florence. He worked as a Software Engineer at the telecom company TIM, where he developed the BlackBerry's enterprise network application platform. Alberto is a game developer with more than 10 years of experience and he is the former Artistic Director of San Diego 3D Game Festival and C.U.D.E. game development conference.
Alberto now lives in Milan; he started working for the GameMakerItalia forum in 2015. He started playing abstract games a few years ago and it was really interesting how to merge graphic and gameplay; Abstract Arena is his first published game.

Credici is an indie game development company, based in Milan. The main developer is Alberto Muratore; working with him are Mario, Federico and Alessandro. All of us are game developers with many years of experience and knowledge on the industry.
