The hyperlinks were functional and provided additional support to main writing. There was also mention of an upcoming project authored by same writers as webpage. This project was hyperlinked to reading and when completed will give actual strategies to motivate children to read.

Because the idea of motivating students to read is very relevant in today's classroom, the information can be found across numerous sites.
The information was very much needed to validate the argument that children need motivation to read. It included primary sources along with background information and statistics. 
The information satisfied the requirements of providing proof to the importance of reading motivation.

Dr. Jessie Ricketts and Dr. Sarah McGeown were the writers of the article through the platform tes.
Dr. McGeown is a lecturer of developmental psychology at The University of Edinburgh. Dr. Ricketts is director of the Language and Reading Lab for Royal Holloway University.
 The information was shared through tes. Tes stands for Times Educational Supplement, a global community aimed to help and support educators in the digital workspace.

The authors provide factual findings that encourage motivating students to read, based off date and research.
The article was written by reading experts and shared to a commercial site. The purpose was to  provide validation for motivating students to read and furthering that with an actual project to implement in the classroom to fulfill those findings.
