Projects/Commendations

Amelia Estevez Creedon is a Library Media Specialist at Pulaski Street School in Riverhead New York. She has been in Riverhead for the last six years. Previously, Amelia worked in the Brentwood School District as a sixth grade teacher. Amelia has created several maker areas for her students and designed a Social Justice as well as a Social Emotional Learning Curriculum. Additionally, she has won several grants to support instruction, is actively involved on the Leadership Team, Parent University Committee, Diversity Task Force and is the chair of the District Technology Committee. Amelia was a nominee for the Sallie Mae Teacher of the Year Award as well as the Librarian of the Year award. She holds a Professional Diploma in School Administration; a Master's degree is Library Science and a Master's in Elementary Education.
