This summary uses data from 30,207 tweets using #covid19UK hashtag, posted by 14,408 tweeters, receiving 34,642 retweets. Top tweets were identified on the basis of retweets. Tweets were filtered to ensure that tweeters listed here had no more than 3 tweets in this or earlier summaries (see October summary here). The following 90 tweets are listed chronologically. As with previous summaries there are useful tweets describing the progress of the pandemic and lockdown, or providing reflection on individual experience. There are also some examples of misinformation/ disinformation. There is therefore content below that I do not support in any way, but have included here to understand different people's response to the pandemic. There are dangerous messages here shared both from anonymous accounts, and in one case a vaccine-denying doctor. This summary is also available as a PDF. See December collection here.
