A).  "Quoting" copied text with "quotation marks", writing an in-text citation and reference list citation.
B). Using an in-text citation and reference list citation for sources that you have paraphrased or summarized. Paraphrasing or summarizing means ALL of the words and sentences are your own, but the idea belongs to the author.
C). Avoiding patchwriting or mosaic plagiarism where you copy sentences and then alter the words. This is plagiarism. If you want to copy, "quote" and cite. If you want to summarize or paraphrase, you MUST re-write all information using your own words and your own sentences!
