Main points:
1. Refresh your effective study attention span by taking breaks every 15-30 min or so
2. Create a study area and develop a habit for studying specifically there
3. Know the difference between recognition and recollection, and when reading something look away and put it in your own words to ensure memorization
4. Get enough sleep to solidify information
5. After taking notes, Add more depth to help you remember what you were writing about, do this while you still remember
6. Teach others what you’ve learned to help yourself understand- even talking to yourself can work!
7. Use SQ3R to effectively use your textbook: Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review
8. Use mnemonics to help memorize facts
