Vanguard: Normandy 1944 is a squad-based multiplayer game designed to bring tactical squad-based infantry combat into the modern era. There are no more plodding walk-mobs to catch up with on the battlefield anymore, if you are caught out without cover or your squad is wiped out, you die. The objective-based Raid gamemode is a throwback to vintage Squad-based shooters, where every life matters, you can’t afford to ‘dawdle’, and players need to rapidly use cover and utilise squad tactics to progress.

A new start for Hearts of Iron IV
Another delay for Hearts of Iron IV, and it's an impressive one. But fear not, fans of the grand strategy series: a new start is promised: "We are fully committed to Hearts of Iron IV and we will do everything in our power to be able to launch it in 2015. It is too early to tell you any more about the exact date of the launch of this game, as such things are classified, but I can guarantee you that it will be 2015 and not 2021 as was previously announced."
The only real problem with the campaign for DOW's World War II series is that it's just too damn short. Thankfully, they have had the foresight to let players progress through the game with the "post-war" option, so even if you finish the campaign in the lower difficulty, you can choose to play the entire thing again, only now knowing the outcome. There are nearly 50 missions to play through, spread over seven continents. As you might expect from a series that's going for some serious realism, there are both historical and fictional events to be played out, from the Battle of Normandy to the Red Army's advance into Poland.

D-Day 1944 is based on historical events. We want you to feel like you are back in 1944 and you are there as a part of the British or German forces.
We want to bring you the experience of playing as an infantry soldier in D-Day 1944.
No talking, fast-paced hardcore tactical team-based multiplayer squad-based combat action.
The action takes place on authentic locations such as Falaise, Caen, St. Lo, Bernay and other significant locations in the area.
The gameplay is focused on the action you can do in a minute. Hold and retake vital points, and you will see the team progressively move forward.
Controllers are a best-fit option for the multi-player game as they work in all the current consoles.
