My EdTech Life! Connecting Educators One Show at a Time!

Never did I think that an idea that I had three years ago would come to fruition, yet here I am hosting a live show every weekend and having the opportunity to meet such wonderful people. Three years ago a lot of great things started happening personally and professionally which have helped pave the way for doing what I love to do. When I started my Master of Education in Educational Technology, the first class that I took helped me see what the importance of being a connected educator is. Our assignments were centered around the curation of data and being involved on social media. I had already implemented the use of social media to share the amazing things my students were doing in the classroom, but this was different. I was just not putting up content, but now I was connecting with other like minded educators around the world. Now what I strive to do is to give educators a platform where they can come on a show and simply share what is on their mind and heart at the time and it doesn't necessarily have to be EdTech related. The goal of My EdTech Life! is to connect people around the world with one another and so that they can one day collaborate together on a project or the next big idea. When you see me on my show, you are truly seeing the real me. You are seeing someone that genuinely cares about learning from my guest and wants to share their story with the world. As the show continues to grow I get excited to see how viewers get to connect with guests and the connections continue to be made. I am happy to help others grow their #PLF (Professional Learning Family).
