The number of objects that can be included in an AutoCAD drawing file varies. For DXF and DWG files, up to 1,000 objects can be included in the drawing. For vector graphics, AutoCAD offers a limit of about 500 objects.
Limitations
A major limitation is the lack of 3D modeling tools. AutoCAD users need to purchase and install a third-party program such as SketchUp, SolidWorks or Autodesk 3ds Max to create 3D geometry.
