05b Phonological Awareness

This section describes the categories within phonological awareness to include: 1) Word Awareness 2) Syllable Awareness 3) Onset-Rime Awareness and 4) Phoneme Awareness. Each of these has discrete skills to be mastered. Also included is a description of Phoneme Articulation - correct pronunciation of the 44 distinct phoneme sounds in the English language.
