“It’s not surprising” 41 home runs last year → NL MVP,

MLB Network selected the 2023 National League MVP as the best right fielder of the year. On the 17th (Korean time), MLB.com selected the top 10 right fielders selected by MLB Network. The best right fielder is Ronald Acuna Jr. (Atlanta), the unanimous MVP of the National League last season. Ronald Acuna Jr. appeared in 159 games last season and performed well with a batting average of .3337 (217 hits in 643 at-bats), 41 home runs, 106 RBI, 149 runs, 73 stolen bases, an on-base percentage of .416, a slugging percentage of .596, and an OPS of 1.066. He achieved the feat of 40 home runs and 70 stolen bases for the first time in the major leagues, and ranked first in the National League in most hits, runs scored, stolen bases, and on-base percentage. MLB.com praised, “It is not surprising that Atlanta’s Ronald Acuna Jr., who unanimously won the NL MVP award, took first place.” MLB.com then added, “This decision became easier as last year’s number one player, Aaron Judge (New York Yankees), moved to center field in this year’s rankings.” Juan Soto (New York Yankees), who played as a San Diego outfielder and ranked second in left field last year, ranked third in right field this year. Soto went to the Yankees in a trade last December. The Yankees traded Michael King, Drew Thorpe, Johnny Brito, Randy Vazquez, and Kyle Higashioka to San Diego in exchange for Soto and Trent Grisham. Soto had a batting average of .275, 35 home runs, and 109 RBI in 162 games last season. Following Acuna Jr., MLB Network placed Kyle Tucker (Houston) in 2nd place, Soto in 3rd place, last year's National League Rookie of the Year Corbin Carroll (Arizona) in 4th place, and Fernando Tatis Jr. (San Diego) in 5th place. Japanese slugger Seiya Suzuki (Chicago Cubs) ranked 6th, George Springer (Toronto) ranked 7th, Teoscar Hernández (LA Dodgers) ranked 8th, Adolis Garcia (Texas) ranked 9th, and ranked 10th. This is Josh Rowe (Tampa Bay). Meanwhile, Suzuki recorded a batting average of .285, 20 home runs, 74 RBI, an on-base percentage of .357, and a slugging percentage of .485 in 138 games last year, his second year in the big league. https://www.sportstotoking.com
